Got some funnies while compiling this kernel=) hope it will be fixed soon, anyways, here they are(sorry if this is an repeat of the old story):
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/kernel' gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -D__SMP__ -pipe -fno-strength-reduce -m486 -DCPU=486 -D__SMP__ -c -o process.o process.c {standard input}: Assembler messages: {standard input}:660: Error: operands given don't match any known 386 instruction make[1]: *** [process.o] Error 1
Could this have to do with the fact that I upgraded to gcc 2.8.1 just some days ago(i havent tried to compile any asm code with this gcc version before but c, c++ worked pretty good or am i totally off line here=)
