Hi!
Compiling the new baby, I have got a strange error message:
gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/home/sysdata/v2.1.97/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O6 -mamdk6 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -fno-strength-reduce -m486 -malign-loops =2 -malign-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -DCPU=686 -c -o process.o process.c {standard input}: Assembler messages: {standard input}:457: Error: operands given don't match any known 386 instructio n make[1]: *** [process.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/sysdata/v2.1.97/linux/arch/i386/kernel' make: *** [linuxsubdirs] Error 2
Any tip/hint to teach that baby walking ? ;-)
