Just though I would mention, in the unlikely event that it is already known, that 2.1.85 fails to detect my ne2000 clone.
The kernel tells me that it is probing at 0x300, which is correct for the card, however, it doesn't find the irq for some reason.
I tried to use a module instead, but that refused to insert at all, telling me that versioning wasn't available (which it isn't, if I enable versioning the compile fails at "make dep").
Perhaps not much of an error report, but if someone could tell me what to look for I will happily provide all the help I can to get this sorted out.
