I had some interesting problems dialing up this morning using 2.1.87. It connected fine, but didn't seem to be routing packets properly.
I could ping the other end of the link, I could ping the router on the remote lan, I could ping the dns server. I could not get anything from nslookup, nor could I telnet to anything on the same network as the dns server.
tcpdump did not report a single packet, even while pings were suceeding.
Now, I suppose it could have been a problem on the remote end that was fixed while I was rebooting into 2.1.86, but it stretches credibility.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
