Subject2.1.87 ppp routing problems
I had some interesting problems dialing up this morning
using 2.1.87. It connected fine, but didn't seem to be
routing packets properly.

I could ping the other end of the link, I could ping the
router on the remote lan, I could ping the dns server.
I could not get anything from nslookup, nor could I telnet
to anything on the same network as the dns server.

tcpdump did not report a single packet, even while pings
were suceeding.

Now, I suppose it could have been a problem on the remote
end that was fixed while I was rebooting into 2.1.86, but
it stretches credibility.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?
