Within the last two months, I saw a blurb about someone successfully patching the kernel or writing an auto-sense daemon that does the following ::
Example: NEC-251 4x4 ide-cdrom.
Load four different data cds into the device, then mount all four disks under different directories/mount-points. Change from one directory to another and the drive auto-selects the disk mounted/assigned to that directory.
I need a psuedo juke-box action with my NEC 4x4 cdrom to multi-scan/search star catalogs on cd-sets and auto search raw data on multi-observation ccd-fits frames.
