I've just compiled 2.1.127 and installed it on my 'closet' dns/www/ftp/nfs/print-server, which does not have keyboard or vga-adapter. After a couple of boots, I noticed this msg twice in the output from dmesg, and I start to wonder.. doesn't the kernel have a way to detect if a keyboard is infact connected?
I'm currently not subscribing to linux-kernel, as I have only intermittant inet-access, and as most of you probably know, two times a week is too little to read the output of this list... Keep up the good work guys :)
