Please note that my version of ksymoops (the one called oops.c) was designed to run before klogd began adding symbol-decoding to the oops report.
I'm now going to update my book to version 2.2 of the kernel, and one of the first steps will be fixing the program (which I heavily use for my own debugging -- but I'm still currently writing modules for 2.0 with an old klogd, so it currently works for me).
