SubjectOpening an inode by number ?
From
Date
How do I open an inode by number in the kernel ?

open_inode in fs/exec.c seems to do what I want, but it expects an
initalized struct inode. How do I get one ?

What I really need is something along the lines of open_namei that would
take an inode number as a parameter instead of a pathname.

thanks,
