Hello, All !
Playing with rusers on new installed kernel 2.0.29 i experienced a problem: try to access localhost's broadcast address fails with ENETUNREACH. Actually, any addresses in 127.* except 127.0.0.1 have this error.
[root@unicorn]~# route -n|grep 127 127.0.0.1 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 UH 0 0 3 lo 127.0.0.0 - 255.0.0.0 ! 0 - 18 - [root@unicorn]~#
networks are Ok, I belive.
[root@unicorn]~# ping -qc 1 127.0.0.0 PING 127.0.0.0 (127.0.0.0): 56 data bytes ping: sendto: Network is unreachable ping: wrote 127.0.0.0 64 chars, ret=-1

Is it a known bug and there is a patch ? Or I missed something to update ?

btw, checking 2.1.65 for this : loopback's broadcast is not responding at all....
