What X is trying to tell you is that you don't have enough video memory to have the virtual resolution set to 1600x1200 by 8bits, or 1920000 bytes. That's 1875k, and X thinks you only have 64k.
GO RTFM, and you can find out how to tell X what how much memory your videocard has. Hint: 'man XF86Config'. If you still cant work it out, post to comp.os.linux.x
