Consitent and I don't know enough C to fix the problem. Very easy to reproduce, I sent the message to linus and the mailinglist, seperate times, twice now. Linus' mailbox is "in contention"(?) right now, so I'm assuming he didn't receive my message. Turn off sysrq option, clean compile with a bunch if initializing from incompatible pointer type message warnings from namei.c in the msdos section (msdos/fat/vfat).
