SubjectBug in 2.0.3x series
A while back I mentioned an unknown PCI device problem with 2.0.30. Well,
with 2.0.31 it was the same thing. And I've tracked it down.

Since my mouse is dead, or more accurately, my bloody com port, I'm typing
this by hand, so forgive typos.

Warning : Unknown PCI device (1106:585). yaddayadda
Warning : Unknown PCI device (1106:586). blahblah
Warning : Unknown PCI device (1106:571). yawnyawn
Calibrating delay loop.. ok - 60.42 bogomips

Well, those "Unknown" devices are actually something so obvious, it should
be PAINFUL.

That is a Non-UDMA onboard EIDE chipset for a lot of Amptron motherboards.
Unknown manufacture, quite probably UMC. It reports back as this, however:

PCI devices found:
Bus 0, device 9, function 0:
VGA compatible controller: S3 Inc. ViRGE (rev 6).
Medium devsel. IRQ 9. Master Capable. Latency=32. Min Gnt=4.Max Lat=255.
Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xe0000000.

Stealth 3D 2000. Normal.

Bus 0, device 7, function 1:
IDE interface: VIA Technologies Unknown device (rev 2).
Vendor id=1106. Device id=571.
Medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable. IRQ 255. Master Capable. Latency=32.
I/O at 0x6000.
Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xe4000000.

Primary EIDE controller. Unknown manufacture.

Bus 0, device 7, function 0:
ISA bridge: VIA Technologies Unknown device (rev 2).
Vendor id=1106. Device id=586.
Medium devsel. Master Capable. No bursts.

ISA to PCI bridge. Unknown manufacture.

Bus 0, device 0, function 0:
Host bridge: VIA Technologies Unknown device (rev 16).
Vendor id=1106. Device id=585.
Medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable. Master Capable. Latency=32.

Plug 'n' Pray Host bridge. Unknown manufacture.

Mo'board specs:

Amptron PM-8600, Award BIOS 10/15/97 S. VXtwo chipset.
Processor is a Cx6x86 PR200L+, running unknown kernel patches. bogomips
report incorrectly since reinstall of Linux. Previously 149.30 bogos to
152.35 bogos. (the CPU runs at 150MHz) SoundBlaster 16 PnP worked previous
to flash (BIOS Revision 05/24/97 S), now gives IRQ/DRQ conflict errors.
Detects correctly. No conflicts.

System Configuration Overview:
Amptron PM-8600
SB16 Value PnP (0x220, irq 5, dma 1, dma 5, 0x330)
Intel EtherExpress/Pro (0x310, irq 10)
SIIG CyberPro Dual I/O [NOT WORKING] (16C650A UARTS. cua2 and cua3)
Stealth 3D 2000 (got me there:)
Western Digital WDAC31600 - hda
Western Digital WDAC11200 - hdb
Quantum BF4320_CY - hdc
NEC CD-ROM:251 - hdd [4x4 CD-ROM changer]
HP T1000 internal
64M physical memory. (2x16M EDO SIMM, 1x32M SDRAM DIMM)
Onboard serial at cua0, cua1
Onboard parallel at lpt1, epp mode, irq7.

I intend to get in touch with Amptron, to determine exactly what those
devices are, and the manufacture. Expect a patch in a week or so.
