My first try connecting with an updated (2.2.0d) pppd, I got:

I can't compile ksymoops (no c++, and I want to get this written before I fall-back to my old pppd).
Also, I just noticed that my rc5 cracker isn't runing anymore (since "[11/16/97 16:27:08 GMT]", it appears from the log). It still shows up on top, but with 0% CPU (99.3% idle, this is a desktop box (and personal mailserver & caching nameserver, but I'm not connected now (obviously))). It's state is "S N ". (Or rather their states: it's a multi-threaded program (which you should be running: go to www.distributed.net/rc5 if your not)).
In any case, the "module+deoops" program posted on or about "Thu Oct 30 23:39:07 1997" gives the following output:

Running uniprocessor 2.1.64 on a Pentium. (Un-f00fable!)
