I wonder if anybody can help me here.
This is my situation:

When I try to do LILO, this is what I get:

disk is a Maxtor 72700AP 2.7G drive.... have a EIDE controller card, with enhanced bios, as my computer is so ancient (486dx2/66 from like 93 or so) it cant handle more than 2 drives, nor the big drives...
ive also got a 428 meg seagate as /dev/hdb, a 120 meg connor as /dev/hdc, and a nec cdrom:285 as /dev/hdd
have to have a disk manager program load up from the mbr right now (because of the bios), so i would have to do lilo as superblock of partition, rather than mbr (until i get myself a newer motherboard and cpu)....
saw something about this (i think) a bit ago...
would rather not have to re-partition everything if i can get away with it, as i dont have a real efficient way of backing everything up att........except possibly with a 120m (compressed, 60m uncompressed) colorado jumbo tape drive (floppy tape, qic-02 i think), that would probably take a couple dozen tapes to back up (total of about 3.2gigs)...
any ideas?
if you need more info, just let me know...
