Subjectplip & socket destroy delayed correlation
Date
I've been tring to get plip working (between a 386 notebook and
a 486 desktop) and if I try to ping down the (still non-functional) plip
link, I start getting a flood of "Socket destroy delayed", that seems to
continue ad nasaum untill I take the interface down (the flood occurs on
the originators side, and goes long after I've killed the ping) anyone
have any thoughts what's happening?

kernel 1.3.72 (with plip support, and without printer support)
gcc 2.7.2
libc 4.7.5 & 5.3.5
