Subject2.0.26, Reboot for no apparent reason..
Date

My system rebooted after running flawlessly for just over 2 days (approx
50 hours uptime). Nobody was logged in at the time (nobody was in the
room either), so I suspect I have encountered the mysterious reboot bug.

I do NOT think this was floppy I/O related, since noone was logged on at
the time, and nothing automatically accesses the floppy drive as far as I
know.

This is an AST Bravo P/75, with some IBM processer.
64MB of RAM.
AHA-2970 SCSI adapter, one 2GB SCSI disk
3c509 ISA network adapter
one 750MB IDE disk
Trident on board video adapter.

kernel 2.0.26, compiled with gcc 2.7.2. No modules were loaded,
everything was built into the kernel. The machine was running named,
the harvest proxy server and the Apache web server, as well as
sendmail.

Note: floppy support was NOT built into the kernel, as it wouldn't
compile for me except as a module. I don't think it was loaded.
Also.. the kernel was installed in a directory named,
/usr/src/linux-2.0.26, while /usr/src/linux was a sybolic link to
a directory containing the linux 2.0.21 code (should that make any
differance?).
