I was running this command:

$ scripts/get_maintainer.pl --nokeywords --nogit --nogit-fallback
drivers//staging/greybus/es2.c

instead of this one:

$ scripts/get_maintainer.pl --nokeywords --nogit --nogit-fallback
drivers/staging/greybus/es2.c
