At least it wasn't dropped -- it's in -mm as part of
fix-for-mpol-mm-corruption-on-tmpfs, though it's unrelated to tmpfs.
(That patch contains three separate changes...)

Should just this part, which changes '<' to '<=', be pushed upstream?
