While printing to my USB printer (HP PhotoSmart 1000) I got the
following errors:

drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: usblp0: error -84 reading printer status
drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: usblp0: error -110 reading printer status
drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: usblp0: error -110 reading printer status
drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: usblp0: error -110 reading printer status

I then powered off the printer (HP PhotoSmart P1000) and then turned it
on again:

usb 1-2: USB disconnect, address 2
hub 1-0:0: debounce: port 2: delay 100ms stable 4 status 0x101
hub 1-0:0: new USB device on port 2, assigned address 3
drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: usblp0: USB Bidirectional printer dev 3 if 0
alt 1 proto 2 vid 0x03F0 pid 0x3002
drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: usblp0: removed

Finally, I get this oops:
