Since it seemed benign, I never worried about it. reboot works perfect. I am using a stock RH 6.2 kernel on a DFI K6BV+ motherboard & a K6-II 500 CPU. I've also seen this on other K6 motherboard systems. This particular one is based on the VIA MVP3 chipset.
