It's something between pre10 and pre15 because I ran into this last night.

Bingo! Me too, I even recompiled a newer version of Squid (2.4) but it ended with the same result..going back to 2.2.15pre10 "fixes" it.. I'm going to dig thru alpha specific changes to see if I can spot the baddy..
