Hi!
When I want to use MAKEDEV with 2.3.99, I get the following messages :
[root@f5ibh] /dev # ./MAKEDEV audio ./MAKEDEV: major_pty/m%d=2: No such file or directory. ./MAKEDEV: major_pty/s%d=3: No such file or directory. ./MAKEDEV: major_tts/%d=4: No such file or directory. ./MAKEDEV: major_cua/%d=5: No such file or directory.
All works fine with earlier versions.
system is Pentium 200MMX, 64Mb SDRAM with :
Kernel modules 2.3.10 Gnu C 2.7.2.3 Binutils 2.9.5.0.22 Linux C Library 2.0.7 Dynamic linker ldd: version 1.9.10 Procps 1.2.9 Mount 2.9g Net-tools 2.01 Kbd 0.96 Sh-utils 1.16 Modules Loaded autofs4 unix serial ax25
