OK, brief specs: ES1373 chip, running the es1371 driver, on 2.3.36pre1, with the sound drivers loaded as modules. Loading the es1371 module is fine, but as soon as I try to change the mixer settings with some kind of OSS mixer (aumix, gmix, etc.) I get the following panic:
