Hi;
I'm not on kernel list, but i read the archive:

ppp changed since 2.3.1?, so you have to upgrade pppd to 2.3.9 and it will
work.
maybe you could have some problems with the kde dialer wich continue to tell
you that
ppp is not configured in the kernel... There is an update too.
