Kernel: 2.2.11 (using ide-scsi) Software: cdrecord 1.8a24 CD-R writer: Sony CRX100E
When I attempt to write a CD-R, I get the following:
cdrecord: Input/output error. write_g1: scsi sendcmd: retryable error CDB: 2A 00 00 02 03 2B 00 00 10 00 status: 0x2 (CHECK CONDITION) Sense Bytes: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 12 00 00 00 00 24 00 00 00 Sense Key: 0x5 Illegal Request, Segment 0 Sense Code: 0x24 Qual 0x00 (invalid field in cdb) Fru 0x0 Sense flags: Blk 0 (not valid) cmd finished after 0.003s timeout 40s
write track data: error after 0 bytes Sense Bytes: 70 00 00 00 00 00 00 12 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 Writing time: 5.043s Fixating... Fixating time: 1.211s cdrecord: fifo had 128 puts and 1 gets. cdrecord: fifo was 0 times empty and 0 times full, min fill was 100%.
Can somebody possbly shed some light on this? I am unsure where to look for further information.
Thanks,
Mike.
