This is just to ease my conscience, I hope. I run a large production Oracle database on kernel 2.2.11 and get some strange meminfo numbers.

I have 256M memory and 800M swap. This is a stock kernel. Should memshared really be > 2 Gig? Perhaps I just don't know what memshared means. Enlighten.
