Subject2.3.27... This is not good...
Just downloaded 2.3.27 and tried to compile it...  Got this...

gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/mnt2/src/linux-2.3.27/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -fno-strength-reduce -DCPU=586 -c -o setup.o setup.c
