Sure enough, when I telnet locally it works but when I use another machine to telnet in it reports:
Received descr = 0[0] FAILED
It never ceases to amaze me how linux can run so well and yet there are still fundamental issues to improve upon. I don't understand the source well. Do you have an idea what is the relevant section of /net/ipv4/tcp_input.c (?)
