Hi Linus,
after having this patch rejected once (offending piece is removed now!) and forgotten about several more times, I'll just resend it again...
This patch updates the documentation in Documentation/sysctl/ to reflect current conditions in /proc/sys/*.
Please apply this patch into the next kernel version. (btw, how do I correctly patch from a non-existing file to a new file? the workaround for now is to touch a .orig file, but that might cause problems for people using the patch...)
