SubjectRe: Remote fork() and Parallel Programming
Hi,

Linux already has some transparent mechanism to transfer data over a
networ. DIPC (Distributed Inter-Process Communication) brings Transparent
Distributed Shared memory (DSM) to Linux.

A remote fork() extension will be a very useful addition. This should be
followed by process migration and dynamic load balancing. Is anyone
working on these problems?

For more info on DIPC visit http://wallybox.cei.net/dipc
