Subjectparide problems (2.1.91)
I've just compiled 2.1.91, and it doesn't see my SyQuest SparQ drive. Before
rebooting I was working with SparQ, and everything worked just fine (under
2.1.90) kernel. 2.1.91 shows
parport0: PC-style at 0x378, irq 7, dma 3 [SPP,PS2,ECP,ECPPS2]
instead of
parport0: PC-style at 0x378 [SPP,ECPPS2]
(as 2.1.90 did). As far as I understand, that is good :) But it seems to me
that parport changes broke paride support. pd says "Autoprobe failed". When I
try to load pd module (when it is set to "M" in kernel config), it says also
"Device or resource busy".
I tried paride + epat + pd as modules and compiled into the kernel.
