Kernels 2.1.90-2.1.93 had an option where you could set the max memory size. That was removed in 2.1.94 again because people were setting it to crazy values and then complaining. What you need to do is look at include/asm-i386/page.h and read the comments down near the bottom. They tell you what you need to do to make the kernel support more then 950MB RAM. -Myrdraal
