The xd and ps2esdi block drivers both use __initfunc on their respective geninit function. However, hd, ide, acsi, md, ddv, sd, pd and mfmhd do not. I'm writing a new block driver and was wondering as to the whichness of the why?
Oh, and is the O'Reilly `Linux Device Drivers' (Alessandro Rubini, Feb 98) any good / relevant to Linux 2.1 development?
