SubjectSerial port in 2.1.8[78]
Date
Small problem:

In 2.1.87 (last time I ran dev. kernel was 2.1.42)
and still in 2.1.88 I can't access /dev/cua2.

My modem's sitting on it, with irq 5.
I do setserial -a /dev/cua2 irq 5 spd_vhi at boot.

2.0.xx work fine.

There's no lock file, trying to access just says
device is busy.

/proc/interrupts still shows "5 cua"

Any ideas ?

And re: UDMA, could anyone point me in the right direction
for enabling/ checking whether enabled ?
My 4.3G Maxtor gives ~12M/s (hdparm -T -t) which is ok though.
(my old 340M Maxtor gives ~800K/s !)

Thanks,
Rik
