Well here you go I got bad CSUMs in 2.1.92-pre1. I have a ppp link and this was from a download from ftp.neato.org
TCPv4 bad checksum from 198.70.96.252:0014 to 207.113.183.128:0550, len=1192/1192/1212 TCPv4 bad checksum from 198.70.96.252:0014 to 207.113.183.128:0550, len=1424/1424/1444 TCPv4 bad checksum from 198.70.96.252:0014 to 207.113.183.128:0550, len=1424/1424/1444 TCPv4 bad checksum from 198.70.96.252:0014 to 207.113.183.128:0550, len=1424/1424/1444 TCPv4 bad checksum from 198.70.96.252:0014 to 207.113.183.128:0550, len=1424/1424/1444 TCPv4 bad checksum from 198.70.96.252:0014 to 207.113.183.128:0550, len=1424/1424/1444 TCPv4 bad checksum from 198.70.96.252:0014 to 207.113.183.128:0550, len=1192/1192/1212 TCPv4 bad checksum from 198.70.96.252:0014 to 207.113.183.128:0550, len=1424/1424/1444 TCPv4 bad checksum from 198.70.96.252:0014 to 207.113.183.128:0550, len=1424/1424/1444 TCPv4 bad checksum from 198.70.96.252:0014 to 207.113.183.128:0550, len=1424/1424/1444 TCPv4 bad checksum from 198.70.96.252:0014 to 207.113.183.128:0550, len=1424/1424/1444
I ran a few more downloads with tcpdump going but it wasn't reproduced and the only thing from tcpdump was normal data. The only time I ever notice these bad CSUMs is when an ftp session stops with a connection timeout, but the only time I really push the ppp link would be an ftp session/
Maybe I should keep tcpdump running in the background from now on :)
