Subject[2.1.86] ppp: fatal decomp error
Hello hackers,

I'm running 2.1.86 with ppp-2.3.3 on a RedHat 5.0 system. I was
previously running 2.1.84, and just upped to '86 yesterday. Ever since, I
have been getting these "ppp: fatal decomp error" messages in my system
logs only a couple hours after pppd starts (my machine is on a dedicated
24/7 dialup ppp circuit). I never saw this prior to 2.1.86. Both the
ppp_deflate and bsd_comp modules are unloaded, and (naturally) PPP
performace becomes less than stellar. Any ideas?

thanks,
-bp
