Subject2.1.86 Boot fails
I just updated from 2.1.85 to 2.1.86 without any changes to my
configuration and 2.1.86 has problems booting. Once it reaches init,
processes spontaneously become stopped. Control-C knocked off the first
one but then it happened to one of the next processes. This happened to
"update" and a few fsck commands and other programs running off my init
scripts. I sent a kill to all processes a few times until I got to the
login prompt where I attempted to log on, and all processes locked up. A
process list showed that most of my processes were in the running state,
and a couple were stopped, all unkillable. I compiled for UP. I'll try
to figure out the problem when I have time later, if someone else hasn't
figured it out.
