Apart from explaining how to change the limit from 1G to 2G, it would be good to see an explanation why the default max is 1G rather than 2G (I still haven't found an answer to that question, personally. The only argument is supposedly to allow up to 3G for process size, but it's not clear to me that 3G of process size is more common than >1G of physical memory).
