Hi all,
I applied the patch today, and though at first it seemed to work quite well, I encountered some very strange behaviour. My system was 97% idle with a load average of 6 or 7, and responsiveness was completely gone while trying to compile ddd 3.1. xosview showed a swapping activity > 20 all the time, the machine hardly calmed down when I aborted the compilation.
My system is a dual P133 with 32MB RAM.
Bye, Patrick
