>What is the cards error register logging ? That is a very good question indeed. The problem is that card issues an interrupt on SUCCESSFULL completion of a frame. Thus is something goes bad - it just scips an interrupt. There is another interrupt line, that indicates error, but it's not currently wired. And from reading the documentation I'm not even sure it indicates these types of errors (i.e.. FIFO overflow). I can wire it if needed, there is one PCI controller IRQ input available (not used now). On the other hand, I want to timestamp everything tightly. I was wondering, which system call gets data directly from 8053 timer under Linux?
