Hi gurus!
I'm trying to get multiple processes reading from the same UDP port on the same host:
include/asm-i386/socket.h for 2.0.35 and 2.1.126: ... /* To add :#define SO_REUSEPORT 15 */ ...
Has anyone got an idea on how to get multiple processes running
s= socket( AF_INET, SOCK_DGRAM, 0 ); setsockopt( s, SOL_SOCKET, SO_REUSEADDR, ... ); setsockopt( s, SOL_SOCKET, SO_REUSEPORT, ... ); bind( s, ...); select(... ); recvfrom( s, ... );
to read from the same UDP port and actually get something without using SO_REUSEPORT, or when SO_REUSEPORT will be implemented ?
*Any* ideas appreciated.
TIA,
