Okay, more info :) It seems to only happen (I think) when I am playing a sound... Has now happened to me twice in the past hour. Once I wasn't doing anything intensive at all, WP and mp3s. System had been up for ~24 hours and became very unresponsive. Sysrq SUB, come back and up and decide to compile an SMP kernel to see if I can get it to exhibit the same problem. Most of the way through the compile (while installing modules), reach unresponsive state again. This time, I sit and wait for it to finish compiling (which took about 20 minutes) :( Any suggestions (or can we see the changes between 127-pre3 and 127-pre7 since that's where it seems to have occurred)
Unfortunately, my sound module under 2.1.128 SMP doesn't seem to work? Anyone else have this problem?
