Hello,
I am looking around for the right way to get VESA blanking of my monitor to work with my TGA card (DEC 21030 ZLXp-E2). It looks like the functionality for this has been moved into vgacon.c and that all I should need to do is compile in VGA console support along with TGA framebuffer support. Will this work? Also, in looking through vgacon.c I see some cli()/sti() combinations. Shouldn't this be updated to save_flags()/cli()/restore_flags()?
thanks, -bp -- B. James Phillippe . bryan@terran.org UNIX Software Engineer . http://www.terran.org/~bryan Member since 1.1.59 . finger:bryan@earth.terran.org MOTM: Waiting for the DSL to go in :)
