Have a loaned clue..

When you bang off the power you are trashing data between your OS
caches and disks, and it doesn't matter if the array is RAID or not.

For some of it definitely - mind you bouncing up and down and pointing out
stuff like the need for a consistent LKM symbol set is extremely valid ;)
