SubjectMemory Addressing and DosFilesysems

My first questions is one that I think got lost. I seem to be having
addressing problems in linux between my scsi controller and my video
card. 95 is able to fix this by "moving" addresses... ? Am I missing
something in my 2.1.43 kenerl? I have tried compiling in Plug-and-Pray
and I've tried to leave it out. When I configure X (no matter what server)
and start the server My machine hangs about 80% of the time. Otherwise
I'm able to CTRL-ALT-BKSPC to kill it and there are no errors in the
log files.

Second,
Is Dos Filesystem support fixed in 2.1.48? What is the finger addr
to hit to see latest version?
