current_set is declared as extern in include/asm-*/current.h, but is not actually defined anywhere.
On the sparc, at least, arch/sparc/kernel/smp.c wants to use it. I stuck the definition in that file, and it seems to work now. I'm not sure what the correct solution is, but that one worked for me.
Well, the kernel runs some, but I get lockups under heavy load.
