SubjectTermcap in kernel V 2.1.35
Termcap seems to be broken in 2.1.35.....
Example:
Script started on Mon Apr 21 20:56:29 1997
# cat
t^%^3t # I typed test
test
t^%^3t
test
t^%^3t
test
#
# exit
exit

What I type to the on the "console" is fine. What is echoed is bad with
some lower-case letters. For instance "e" becomes "^%" and "s" becomes
"^3". This does not show up with the bash shell. However, with cat or
some programs that look at "stdin", the echo is bad for some characters.

Script done on Mon Apr 21 20:57:01 1997

My TERMCAP environment (which hasn't changed) is:
TERM=vt100-am
TERMCAP=vt100|vt100-am|dec vt100 (w/advanced video):am:mi:ms:xn:xo:co#80:it#8:li#25:vt#3:@8=\EOM:DO=\E[%dB:K1=\EOq:K2=\EOr:K3=\EOs:K4=\EOp:K5=\EOn:LE=\E[%dD:RI=\E[%dC:UP=\E[%dA:ac=\140\140aaffggjjkkllmmnnooppqqrrssttuuvvwwxxyyzz{{||}}~~:ae=^O:as=^N:bl=^G:
