Subjectcan't map libc error
Hi,

Can anyone please explain to me why this would occur:

touch: can't map '/lib/libc.so.5.3.12'
touch: can't map '/lib/libc.so.5'
touch: can't load library 'libc.so.5'

/usr/sbin/netdate: can't map '/lib/libc.so.5.3.12'
/usr/sbin/netdate: can't map '/lib/libc.so.5'
/usr/sbin/netdate: can't load library 'libc.so.5'

This happened once and now things are back to normal.
I also get segmentaion faults (on occasion) when running top.

The server rarely swaps and load is usually under 1. I can't see any
reason why this would occur.

Any ideas where I can start looking ?

Server:
Pentium 150Mhz, 128Meg ram, Linux 2.0.24. Patched with FD > 256.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
