Dear Linux Developers
I am a development project manager for Specialix International. My company has a strong desire to develop a Linux device driver for our IO8+ 8 channel RS232 board. Specialix have developed a number of device drivers for this product ( M/S and Unix variants ) but we have no deployable Linux device driver writers available to write this driver in any acceptable timescale.
If there are any under utilised (!) Linux driver developers out there who would be prepared to write this driver ( or assist ), I would be happy to hear from you and discuss terms.
Product Details ===============
The IO8+ is a non intelligent 8 port serial I/O card ( 8 X RJ12 ). The UART is the Cirrus Logic CD1864/1865, it uses 4 I/O memory addresses and supports 4 interrupt levels.
Sample developer code examples ( from other OS's ) would be available.
