Well, this doubt came to me while looking at a bad behaviour of kerneld.
The thing is that if root asks for the, for example, execution rights of a file that is chmod 0000 using access he gets a 0 (he's supposed to be able to execute it), but if he tries to execute it he is not allowed.
Can someone explain this to me?
